Industrias Metalurgicas Pescarmona (IMPSA) has its origins in Talleres Metalurgicos E.E. Pescarmona (created in 1907) and in Construcciones Metalicas Pescarmona S.R.L. (created in 1946). In its beginnings, the company was dedicated to the fabrication of capital goods for the heavy industry. However, the relative importance of that business unit has decreased and the company has moved into the service supply sector and offers products with greater added value. The company also participates in the automobile parts industry in Argentina and Brazil, the gathering and handling of waste products in Argentina and Colombia, as well as freight transportation.
