Gas Promet a.d. (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Gas Promet a.d. is a company located in Pale, Republic of Srpska. It was established on July 29, 1998, by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Srpska as a state-owned enterprise for the import, supply, and transportation of natural gas. In 2005, after a transformation of the state capital, the company was reorganized and registered as a joint-stock company for the import, supply, and transportation of natural gas in Istočno Sarajevo - Pale. The company's name was later changed to Joint-Stock Company for the Transport and Management of the Natural Gas Transportation System "Gas Promet" Pale, in accordance with the provisions of the Gas Law. The company's main shareholders include JP "Srbijagas," the Action Fund of the Republic of Srpska, the Pension Reserve Fund, the Restitution Fund of the Republic of Srpska, and investment funds and individuals. Gas Promet has been successful in ensuring the safe and secure operation of the natural gas transportation system in the Republic of Srpska, as well as the development and expansion of the gas network. They have also contributed to the enactment of the Gas Law, which regulates the organization, regulation, and functioning of the natural gas sector in the Republic of Srpska. The company possesses the necessary permits and certificates to carry out its activities in the transportation and management of the natural gas transportation system.
