Monthly tickets were introduced in 1967 to provide cheaper individual transportation for the citizens of Tuzla. By 1972, Gradski i Prigradski Saobracaj Tuzla had 80 buses and 270 employees. Integration of transportation companies in the Tuzla municipality led to the formation of three departments: passenger transportation, freight transportation, and bus and vehicle maintenance. In 1975, the company added eight articulated buses, also known as "harmonika," to its fleet. During this period, the first bus shelters were installed, improving the city's appearance and transportation services. In the early 1980s, the company worked on uniting with other municipalities, including Živinice, Kalesija, and Srebrenik. The suburban bus station at Pinge, near Slana Banja, was also built during this time. The main activity of Gradski i Prigradski Saobracaj d.d.
