Bosnia's cement plant Fabrika cementa Lukavac (FCL), which was founded in 1974, is located 15 kilometres west of the northern town of Tuzla, in the Muslim-Croat federation. The company’s core products are portland and masonry cement.
During a privatization process, which started in October 2001, FCL became a member of the Austria’s business group Asamer and is currently 99%-owned by the Austrian company.
FCL sells its output to industrial companies, building and construction companies, retail chains and individual clients in Bosnia and abroad.
