Milkos d.d. (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Milkos d.d. is a milk and dairy products processing company located in Hadzhici, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 1953 and is the oldest milk processor in the country. The company was established as a standalone enterprise and later became part of the IPK Sarajevo business system. In September 2004, Teloptic d.o.o. Sarajevo acquired the majority shares of Milkos from the state, making it the majority owner of the company. Teloptic took on the responsibility of fulfilling all existing obligations of Milkos towards suppliers, creditors, and employees. They also committed to maintaining the registered activities, retaining the existing 85 employees, hiring an additional 78 workers, and making additional financial investments over the next three years. Milkos moved from Pofalici to the Industrial Zone in Hadzhici, where a new building was constructed, new equipment was installed, and additional young professionals were employed. The company's main focus is on producing high-quality dairy products, with a strong emphasis on innovation and promoting a healthy and balanced diet for individuals and families.
