Vodovod AD Banja Luka provides water and sewage services to a range of residential, commercial, industrial and governmental customers in Banja Luka, the capital of the Bosnian Serb Republic, which, together with the Muslim-Croat federation, make up post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company provides a range of services, including water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, utility billing and collection, utility infrastructure construction management and public works services. The company services not only Banja Luka, but also to the neighboring towns of Celinac, Laktasi and Subotica. Vodovod’s water distribution pipes and mains include approximately 700 km for the four towns. Vodovod is responsible also for the operation and maintenance of some 150 km of main sewers. The company provides service to nearly 200,000 inhabitants. Vodovod manufactures and distributes approximately 1020 l/s of water in 24 hours, which translates into 32 million cubic meters of water per year.
