Bay Leasing & Investment Limited (Bangladesh)

The Company extends lease financing as its core business for all types of machinery and equipment including vehicles for industrial, commercial and private purpose. It has also expanded its activities into term finance, housing finance and merchant banking operations.
It is a Public Limited Company was incorporated in Bangladesh on February 7, 1996 under the Companies Act of 1994. Bangladesh Bank has granted license to the Company on 25-05-1996 to function as a non-banking financial institution under the Financial Institution Act of 1993 and the Financial Institution Regulation of 1994.
The Company is also registered itself as a Merchant Bank with the Securities Exchange Commission on June 25, 1998.
It was quoted on Dhaka Stock Exchange in 2009 with authorized 5000 ordinary shares of Tk. 100/- each.
The financial statements of the Company are made up to 31 December each year and are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with (First Schedule) (sec-38) of the Bank Companies Act of 1991, DFIM circular number 11dated 23 December, 2009, other Bangladesh Bank circulars, Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards(BFRS), the Companies Act of 1994, the Financial Institutions Act, 1993, the Securities and Exchange Rules of 1987 and other prevailing laws and rules applicable in Bangladesh.
