The Company is engaged in producing world-class clinker and cement which is a demonstration of the sophisticated and state-of-the-art machineries and processes of our plant at Chhatak.
The Company also engaged in cement division which manufactures and supplies a wide range of cements, hydraulic binders and lime for construction, renovation and civil engineering markets.
History:
1997:The Company was incorporated on November 11, 1997 as a Private Limited Company in Bangladesh under the Companies Act, 1994 having its registered office in Dhaka.
2003:The Company on January 20, 2003, the Company was changed into a Public Limited Company and was listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange in 2003 and Chittagong Stock Exchange on December 29, 2003.
2017:The Company has changed its name from (Lafarge Surma Cement Limited) to (LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited) at the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on 7 February 2017.
2024 : The Company changed its name from LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited to LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC Effective October 09, 2024.
