The principal activity of the Company is to deal in the business of refined edible oil and vegetable ghee. It produces refined edible oil and vegetable ghee from crude edible oil imported from abroad which is being refined and processed in its refinery.

HISTORY:
1990:The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company with the Register of Joint Stock Company on 06 June 1990 under the Companies Act, 1994
1997:and subsequently has been converted into a Public Limited Company on 28th June 1996 and went for Initial Public Offering of shares in 1997.
1997:The Company was listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange and on Chittagong Stock Exchange on May 24, 1997.
2018:The Company was delisted in Dhaka Stock Exchange on July 19, 2018, and it is still listed on Chittagong Stock Exchange.
