Sonali Aansh Industries Limited (SAIL) is an export-oriented jute industry located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the largest jute-spinning mill in the country and specializes in the production of jute yarn and diversified jute products. SAIL has obtained the ISO 9002 standard for its quality assurance system and undergoes annual audits for social and technical compliance by SGS. The company is listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange and has been awarded the National Export Trophy by the Government of Bangladesh for its contributions to exports. The factory, situated on 22 acres of land with a covered area of 10 acres, started production in 1982. It is located in Daudkandi, 43KM from Dhaka, on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. SAIL currently employs 300 management staff and 2600 employees who are skilled in ensuring the production of quality goods. The company has a yearly turnover of 9,000 Mt.'s.
