One of Bulgaria's biggest construction and engineering firms GBS - Sofia, now Glavbolgarstroy AD, was incorporated in 1996. The company is part of local Glavbolgarstroy Holding. The parent company was established in 1969 under the Glavbolgarstroy (GBS) name. In 1997 it was transformed into a joint-stock company and in 2005 - into a holding structure.
Glavbolgarstroy AD is engaged in the construction, reconstruction and engineering of residential and public buildings, infrastructure facilities and roads in the country and abroad.
The company runs branch offices in Vratsa and Samokov as well as in the Republic of Kosovo.
