The Bulgarian subsidiary of U.S. manufacturing conglomerate Honeywell International was founded in 1993 and is active in the fields of control technologies for buildings, homes and industry, equipment for control and regulation of residential buildings, automotive products and power generation systems.
In September 1998, Honeywell set up a joint venture of the ESCo (Energy Service Company) type with the district heating company in the capital Sofia for the rehabilitation of 150 subscription stations in the city.
The company has signed contracts for industrial automation with TPP Maritsa Iztok 2, Solvey - Sodi, Lukoil Neftochim, Heochim. In the field of domestic automation the company has been working for Erato, Ruveks and BG Term.
