Kastamonu Bulgaria AD was initially established in 1995 as state-owned enterprise Gabrovnitsa. In 1997, 67% share of the company`s capital was privatized. In 2000, Turkish Kastamony EntegreK Agac San.Tic.A.S purchased stakes in the company from local Industrial Holding Bulgaria and other shareholders. In 2012, Netherlands-based Keas Holding B.V. became the sole owner of Kastamonu Bulgaria. The company, headquartered in the village of Gorno Sahrane, deals in the production of fiberboard and laminated fiberboard.
