Liebherr Hausgeraete Maritsa EOOD (Bulgaria)

In 1999, the Liebherr group established Liebherr-Hausgeräte Maritsa EOOD in the industrial zone "Maritsa," which is now part of the Plovdiv's "Trakia Economic Zone." The decision to build a new production base for household appliances was made in the late 1990s and is of great strategic importance for both the region's development and the company. The construction of the factory at that time was the largest investment in Bulgaria, with an initial investment of around 25 million euros. Liebherr-Hausgeräte Maritsa EOOD is one of the five production bases for household appliances, alongside those in Germany, Austria, Malaysia, and India. The company manufactures high-quality refrigerators, freezers, combined fridge-freezers, and top-mounted appliances. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and high-quality materials, Liebherr creates a wide range of appliances with optimal comfort and high energy efficiency solutions. Since its establishment, Liebherr-Hausgeräte Maritsa EOOD has laid a solid foundation for dynamic growth, making it a company with over 1,900 employees and an annual production of approximately 1,000,000 appliances.
