Bulgarian medical equipment manufacturer Momina Krepost was established in 1966. Initially the company was engaged in the manufacture of small plastic and rubber products. In 1971 the manufacture of plastic medical products for single use was launched.
The company went private in 1997 when local private industrial group Industrial Holding Doverie bought 70% of it.
Momina Krepost was licensed for syringes production in 1982. In 1984, the company started to produce single-use syringes under license of the German company Mannesmann Demag.
In December 2004, the listed company put into operation a USD 1.0 million equipment for production of syringes, manufactured by Korean medical equipment supplier Item.
Momina Krepost`s product range comprises single-use products designed to serve in various medical fields – surgery, urology, intensive therapy, gynaecology and others. It also offers plastic products for industrial and household needs.
