Toplofikatsia Burgas, which was established in 1982, is the steam heating utility operating in Bulgaria's Black Sea port of Burgas. The firm, which has an installed capacity of 372 megawatts, delivers heat to more than 29,000 households.
Toplofikatsia Burgas operates four gas-powered boilers and runs a 119-kilometres hot water network.
In June 2005, Bulgaria's Privatisation Agency sold full control of the Burgas district heating company to local firm Novas 2004 for EUR 7.73 million.
