Banco Caixa Geral (CGD) was incorporated on April 1, 2009. The bank operates in export credit, import and offers lines of working capital. Operates in the foreign exchange and derivatives to customers and project finance, as well as advising and consulting on mergers and acquisitions and international distribution in the issuance of shares. Recently, the bank invested US$ 500 million to create a development bank in Angola in partnership with oil company Sonangol, which has also invested another US$ 500 million in the project. In Mozambique, the CGD has invested US$ 125 million to create a development institution and an additional US$ 50 million in BCI, the investment bank.
