Sao Martinho S.A. is one of the largest sugarcane energy groups in Brazil. It has a milling capacity of approximately 24 million tons of sugarcane and a mechanized harvesting rate of 100%, making it a reference in the industry. The company operates four units: Usina Sao Martinho in Pradopolis, Usina Iracema in Iracemapolis, Usina Santa Cruz in Americo Brasiliense, and Usina Boa Vista in Quirinopolis. The Sao Martinho, Santa Cruz, and Iracema units produce sugar and ethanol, while the Boa Vista unit is dedicated exclusively to ethanol production. All units generate electricity from the burning of sugarcane bagasse, ensuring self-sufficiency and the sale of excess energy. The company has a strong logistics platform for product distribution, with high storage capacity and proximity to important highways and railways. It also benefits from having its own railway line, allowing for efficient and cost-effective real-time production distribution. Since February 2007, Sao Martinho's shares have been traded on the Novo Mercado, the highest level of corporate governance on the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (B3), under the ticker SMTO3.
