Unimed Piracicaba was the second founded in the country, carrying out the implementation of cooperative medical work in Brazil. Led by Troy Manoel Gomes, a group of 67 medical members, embodies this reality in December 14, 1970. Currently the cooperative is represented by about 500 cooperated doctors, offering various specialties in health care through Unimed health plans.
