Banco Itaú Chile is a Chilean banking company that is a subsidiary of the Brazilian banking group Itaú. In 2016, it merged with Corpbanca to form Itaú Corpbanca. The current ownership structure of Banco Itaú Chile is as follows: 38.14% owned by Itaú Unibanco, 28.57% owned by the Saieh Family, and 33.29% owned by minority shareholders. Itaú Unibanco is the sole controlling shareholder of the merged bank. Itaú Unibanco and CorpGroup have also signed a shareholders' agreement regarding corporate governance, dividend policy, share transfers, liquidity, and other matters.
