Emasa Equipos Y Maquinarias S.A. is a Chilean company founded on January 21, 1958. It was initially established to develop business through the representation of products from the Bosch group in Chile. In 1967, Bosch became a shareholder of Emasa, acquiring a minority percentage of shares. This percentage increased in 1969, with Bosch eventually owning 51% of the company. As a result, the company was renamed Robert Bosch Chile S.A. However, by the end of 1979, Bosch reduced its stake as a shareholder, and the company reverted back to its original name, EMASA, Equipos y Maquinarias S.A. The company's first location was in the center of Santiago, on Huérfanos Street, before moving to San Eugenio Street in 1959. In 1981, EMASA constructed its first institutional building at the corner of San Eugenio and Irarrázaval, expanding it in 1991. Currently, the company operates in various business areas, including the Automotive, Machinery, and Equipment divisions, employing approximately 350 people.
