Empresas Navieras S.A. (Chile)

Grupo Empresas Navieras S.A. -GEN-, is an investment company, parent company of its direct subsidiaries Agencias Universales S.A. (AGUNSA), Compañía Marítima Chilena S.A. (CMC) and Portuaria Cabo Froward S.A. (FROWARD), all public limited companies that trade their shares in the stock exchanges of the country, under the symbols NAVIERA, AGUNSA, INTEROCEAN and FROWARD respectively. Through them, it participates in other companies that amount to a number higher than 100, both domestic and foreign. It also has participation in Antofagasta Terminal Internacional S.A. (ATI), in Terminal Puerto Arica S.A. (TPA) and in Iquique Terminal International S.A. (ITI). In 2011 GEN was awarded the Talcahuano Port Terminal (TTP) concession, controlling 99.9%, of its assets and in this way expanding its presence in the main ports of the country. With these investments, GEN is in the global shipping business, ship agent, freight services, representations of transport operators, both maritime and air, investments in port and air infrastructure, ground and maritime equipment, ground transportation, storage and distribution of products and, in general, everything related to transportation and services of cargo, both for import and export.
