Energia Latina S.A. is a company located in Santiago, Chile. It was incorporated in 2007. The company aims to provide sustainable energy solutions that produce environmental, economic, and technological benefits for its customers and the world. They focus on creating and implementing new sustainable energy options and competitiveness for their clients by incorporating digital advancements. Energia Latina S.A. also strives to establish integral relationships with their customers through consistent and collaborative communication to foster virtuous alliances. Energia Latina S.A. has a subsidiary called Highview-Enlasa, which is dedicated to the development and construction of long-duration energy storage plants. They have achieved significant milestones in solar energy, including obtaining the RCA Peñón Solar 9 MW / 13 MWp and acquiring the Teno Solar project. In 2020, they established a new Remote Operations Center (COR) for the centralized operation of their own and third-party power plants. They also introduced GI360, a comprehensive service designed to meet the control, supervision, and asset management needs of photovoltaic plants. In the same year, they began the construction of the Teno Solar Phase 1 project with a capacity of 7.4 MWp. In 2021, Teno Solar, their first renewable generation plant, started operating in the National Electric System (SEN). In 2022, they commenced the construction of the Teno Solar II expansion project with a capacity of 2.2 MWp and the Peñón Solar project with a capacity of 10.5 MWp. They also initiated the expansion of the San Lorenzo Substation, which will enable the connection of the Santo Domingo mining project and provide two additional connections with a capacity of up to 200 MW. Energia Latina S.A. received environmental approval for their first long-duration energy storage project in Latin America, driven by HVE. This project will have a load of 100 MW, a generation capacity of 50 MW, and storage of 600 MWh, equivalent to 12 hours of continuous generation. In 2022, Energia Latina S.A. sold its stake in the affiliated companies Innovación Energía (Inersa) and Terminal Gas Caldera to Empresas Gasco.
