Fruticola Viconto was founded in 1986 as a result of the division of Vina Concha y Toro that initiated their fruit production in 1975. Fruticola Viconto was founded to meet the need to have an autonomous company aimed mainly at the exploitation, development and increase of agricultural activities in the area of fruits and fresh vegetables production for export. With respect to the boom experienced by these products in foreign markets, especially those located in the northern hemisphere, where they are produced or located off-season. In 2005, it merged with Comercial Greenwich, giving birth to the joint venture Greenvic. This company is related to the Guilisasti Group, wich focus its business to the wine sector.
