Norvind S.A. is a subsidiary of Latin America Power Inc. The company owns a wind plant in Chile called Totoral. This wind farm is located at Canela, in the Fourth Region, 295 kilometers north of Santiago. It was built under Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Law and feeds all its electricity to the Central Grid. Totoral was registered in December 2010 under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Framework Convention on Climate Change of the United Nations.
