Servicios Sanitarios Larapinta S.A. (Chile)

Selar S.A. is a sanitary services company regulated by the Superintendency of Sanitary Services, which provides the services of production and distribution of drinking water, and the services of collection and treatment of wastewater of the sector called Hacienda Urbana Larapinta, commune of Lampa, in operation since September 2005. For this, the company has water collection systems from deep wells, which after passing through the process of potabilization, a process in which chlorine is added with the objective of eliminating the possible bacteriological elements, is distributed to their subsequent consumption. Once these waters are used, they are collected by the sewage system and taken to the Sewage Treatment Plant, where the wastewater recovery is carried out through biological processes, processes that allow these waters to be returned to rivers beds or channels in conditions for their use in irrigation.
