Transportes e Inversiones Magallanes S.A. (Chile)

Transportes y Inversiones Magallanes S.A., is an urban public transport company, pioneer in its class in Chile for introducing the first fleet composed exclusively of new natural gas (CNG) buses in the country. It is subsidiary of Gasco S.A. - which operates commercially under the Movigas brand - and it began providing public transportation services in Punta Arenas on May 31, 2010, after more than 20 years the inhabitants of the area were without buses to mobilize. In 2015, Transportes y Inversiones Magallanes accepted the request of the Regional Government of Magallanes to extend its operation for another year, until May 31, 2016. After two extensions in the concession, at the request of the authority, on January 4, 2017 Transportes e Inversiones Magallanes stopped operating Movigas in Punta Arenas.
