Aesthetic Medical International Holdings Group Ltd. (China)

The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the provision of non-surgical aesthetic medical services, surgical aesthetic medical services, other aesthetic medical services and general healthcare services in the People s Republic of China (the PRC ).
The Company is a provider of aesthetic medical services in China. Leveraging over 20 years of clinical experience, the Company provide one-stop aesthetic service offerings, including surgical aesthetic treatments, such as eye surgery, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and liposuction, non-surgical aesthetic treatments, which comprise minimally invasive treatments and energy-based treatments such as laser, ultrasound and ultraviolet light treatments, and (iii) other aesthetic services such as cosmetic dentistry, as well as general medical services. In 2017, China was the second largest market for aesthetic medical services based on revenue, with the global market for aesthetic medical services totaling US 125.8 million, according to Frost Sullivan.
The Company had one single operating and reportable segment, namely the provision of non- surgical aesthetic medical services, surgical aesthetic medical services, other aesthetic medical services and general healthcare services. As the Company s long-lived assets are substantially all located in the PRC and substantially all of the Company s revenue is derived from within the PRC, no geographical information is presented.
2011: The Company was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 27 May 2011 as an exempted company with limited liability under the Companies Law, Cap. 22 (Law 3 of 1961, as consolidated and revised) of the Cayman Islands.
2015: Pursuant to a shareholders resolution passed on 16 March 2015, English name of the Company changed from Pengai Hospital Management Corporation to Pengai Aesthetic Medical Group . Pursuant to a special resolution passed on 12 April 2017, English name of the Company changed from Pengai Aesthetic Medical Group to China Aesthetic Healthcare Group . Pursuant to a special resolution passed on 11 July 2018. English name of the Company changed from China Aesthetic Healthcare Group to Aesthetic Medical International Holdings Group Limited .
The Company acquired the entire equity interest in Newa Medical Aesthetics Limited in October 2015 to further extend its footprint to Hong Kong.
2017: The Company incorporated Stargaze Wealth Limited in the BVI in April 2017 and Aesthetic Medical International Holdings (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., formerly known as China Aesthetic Healthcare Holding (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., in Singapore in May 2017 to invest in their Singapore medical center. As of the date of this prospectus, it owned 44.4 of equity interest in Singapore Mendis.
2019: In February 2019, the Company entered into an agreement for an investment in LZP Holding, Inc., or LZP, which owns and operates five plastic surgery centers in California under the name WAVE Plastic Surgery Aesthetic Laser Centers.
The Company have received the approval to list the ADSs on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol AIH.
