The Company s integrated logistics and supply chain services encompass B2B and B2C supply chain management, express and less-than-truckload delivery, cross-border supply chain management and a real-time bidding platform to source truckload capacity. Its last­-mile services include online merchandise sourcing and store management for convenience stores as well as B2C services. In addition, the Company provide value-added services to support its ecosystem participants and help them grow. BEST Cloud, its proprietary technology platform that seamlessly connects its systems with those of its ecosystem participants, is the backbone that powers its integrated services and solutions.
The Company has determined that it operates in four operating segments: Freight delivery, or the Freight segment, Supply chain management, or the Supply Chain Management segment, Global logistics, or the Global segment, Others segment.
HISTORY
2007 The Company s founder established Eight Hundred Logistics Technologies Corporation, or BEST BVI, a British Virgin Islands company, and its wholly owned subsidiary in Hong Kong, BEST Logistics Technologies Limited, or BEST HK, in May 2007.
In June 2017, the name of BEST Logistics Technologies Limited was changed to BEST Inc. The Company conduct the Company s businesses mainly through the Company s wholly foreign owned enterprises and the VIE in China.
2008 The Company is a limited liability company incorporated in the Cayman Islands on March 3, 2008.
2017 The Company s ADSs, each representing one of its Class A ordinary shares, have been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since September 20, 2017 under the symbol “BSTI.”
2019 The Company s ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange changed from “BSTI” to BEST” effective at the start of trading on February 19, 2019.
2021 The Company agreed to sell BEST Express to J T Express Co., Ltd, or J T Express China in October 2021. The sale closed and was completed in December 2021.
