The Company is a third-party wealth management services provider in China with a focus on the affluent and emerging middle class population.
The Company commenced its wealth management services business in November 2010 when its founder, chairman of the board and chief executive officer, Mr. Yu Haifeng, founded Fanhua Puyi Investment Management Co., Ltd.
The Company is a wealth management service provider focusing on financial asset allocation services, which enables it to offer a suite of products or services to meet the investment and wealth inheritance objectives of its clients. The Company primarily provide wealth management services and asset management services, and through cooperation with its business partners, the Company also provide insurance consulting services, trust consulting services and ancillary services.
The Company manages its business as a single operating segment engaged in the provision of distribution and managing wealth management services in the PRC. Substantially all of its revenues are derived in the PRC. All long-lived assets are located in PRC.
HISTORY
2018 The Company was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on August 6, 2018.
2019 On March 29, 2019, the Company s ADSs commenced trading on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol “PUYI.”
2024 On March 13, 2024, the Company's English name be changed from Puyi Inc. to Highest Performances Holdings Inc. and the Company's Chinese name from 普益有限公司 to 华普集团有限公司. The Company also announced the change of its ticker symbol from “PUYI” to “HPH.”
