Gestion Energetica S.A. E.S.P. (GENSA) is a national energy generation and commercialization company. Through their management they have achieved 24 hours of electricity for Guapi, Bahia Solano, Bahia Cupica, Inirida and Mitu. The company owns one of Colombia's most important coal-fired thermoelectric plants - Termopaipa. The company has moved the national geography making presence in 31 of the 32 departments of the country, with the construction of energy distribution networks and substations in interconnected rural areas and non-interconnected areas, normalization of electrical distribution networks in subnormal neighborhoods of the centers urban, construction of electric interconnection lines at voltage levels of 13.8 kV and 34.5 kV and implementation of photovoltaic systems for individual users, schools and health centers, projects that have benefited close to 1 million 771 thousand users.
