United Energy, A.S. (Czech Republic)

United Energy A.S. is a Czech company located in Most. It was established in the 1950s and is one of the leading independent producers of electricity and heat in the northern region of Bohemia. The company operates a combined heat and power plant in Komořany near Most, with a total installed electrical capacity of 239 MWe. It supplies heat to 35,000 households in Most and Litvínov, as well as other businesses in the Mostecko region, through its subsidiary Severočeská teplárenská, which owns the heat distribution facilities. United Energy is a promising employer and a significant partner in the region. The company is a member of several professional and regional organizations, including the Czech District Heating Association, the Czech Chamber of Commerce, the Euroregion Krušnohoří, the Economic and Social Council of Mostecko, the District Chamber of Commerce (Energy Section), and the Association of Operators of Technologies for Ecological Waste Utilization.
