Helios Faros d.d. and Valamar Riviera signed a contract on August 16, 2019, regarding the management of hotel and tourist facilities. Valamar provides services to Helios Faros in terms of managing accommodation facilities, sales and marketing, quality management, procurement services, controlling services, technical consulting, human resources consulting, and investment development consulting. The company's shares were listed on the regular market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange on May 5, 2020. Helios Faros d.d. encompasses hotel and tourist facilities from several predecessor companies with a tradition of continuous operation in tourism and hospitality since the construction of Hotel Lavanda in 1967 and Hotel Arkada in 1977. The company owns the largest hotel complex on the island of Hvar, covering over 147,000 square meters, consisting of two hotels and a tourist settlement in the Priko area. It also has facilities in the center of Stari Grad. The attractive location and spatial resources provide a significant comparative advantage over competitors in the region.
