NISZ Zrt. (Hungary)

NISZ Nemzeti Infokommunikációs Szolgáltató Zrt., also known as NISZ Zrt., is a Hungarian company based in Budapest. The company has a history dating back half a century, with its predecessors being the Konjunktúra- és Piackutató Intézet (KOPINT) founded in 1964 and the Datorg Külkereskedelmi Adatfeldolgozó és Szervező Rt. established in 1968. These two entities merged in 1987 to form the KOPINT-DATORG Konjunktúra-, Piackutató és Informatikai Intézet. In July 2005, the Hungarian state became the sole owner of the company, which has since operated as a closed joint-stock company. Since 2007, the company's main activity has been providing comprehensive information and communication services to state and governmental organizations. In 2008, ownership rights were transferred to the Hungarian National Asset Management Company, and the company's name was changed to NISZ Nemzeti Infokommunikációs Szolgáltató Zrt. in 2011. The company's largest clients include government agencies and national-level institutions, but it also serves businesses, organizations, and individuals. NISZ supports the domestic public sector by utilizing the latest information and communication technologies to meet innovation challenges.
