The Company has over 50 product lines. Wherever the Company meets its customers, there are some 50 well loved products. In the Energy Sales Divisional Group, there are 10 products, ranging from gasoline products to maintenance services. In the Information and Telecommunication Divisional Group, there are 16 product lines, from cellular phone retail to leased line services. In the Global Business Divisional Group, there are 16 product lines, from petrochemicals to steel plates.
In the Fashion Business Division, there are five product lines, from school uniforms to casual wear. In the aftermath of the Korean War, the creation of Sunkyung Textiles, the predecessor of SK Networks, was a ray of hope for economic revival in a war-torn nation. The Company, equipped with a grand total of 20 outdated weaving machines recovered amid the ruins, began its entrepreneurial epic. Sunkyung, suggesting the scope of the Company s ambition, light and magnitude, would indeed prove a fitting title for the SK story.

The history of SK Networks dates back to 1953.
-1953: The Company established (CEO and President: Chey Jong-kun).
-1966: Awarded Export Achievement of the President s Prize (Export achievement of 1.8 million U.S Dollars).
-1974: Received Export Achievement Award of the President s Prize.
-1976: Absorption merger of Sunil Textile Co., Ltd. business name changed to Sunkyong Co., Ltd. It was designated as a general trading company.
-1977: Listed on the Korean Stocks Exchange.
-1980: The Company (formerly known as Yukong Limited) was acquired.
-1981: Awarded for earning 500 million U.S Dollars in exports.
-1989: Participated in the Oil Exploration Project in Myanmar.
-1991: Started participation in Guyana Forest Development Project.
-1996: Established a first China - Korea joint venture trading company in China.
-1997: Concluded contract on Cambodia Forest Development Project.
-1998: Change business name to “SK Global Co., Ltd”.
-1999: Merged with SK Distribution.
-2000: Merged with SK Energy Sales.
-2002 : Acquisition of Segye Corporation Launching of leased line business.
-2003: Inauguration of CEO and President Jung Man Won and changed in the Company s name to “SK Networks”.
