Edinstvo AD Strumica (North Macedonia)

Edinstvo AD Strumica is a company located in Strumica, North Macedonia. It was founded on October 1, 1966, initially operating under the name "Zadruga za šivački uslugi i promet so gotovi tekstilni proizvodi" (Cooperative for sewing services and trade with finished textile products). In 1973, the cooperative was constituted as OZT Edinstvo, and in 1976, it transformed into a working organization called "Konfekcija i Trikotaža Edinstvo Strumica" (Confectionery and Knitwear Edinstvo Strumica). That same year, a knitting department was opened as an expansion of the company's activities, and work was also introduced according to the SIC system. In 1985, a new factory was built with a total covered area of 6,000 square meters. In 1991, the company was registered as a joint-stock company in mixed ownership, under the name "Konfekcija i Trikotaža Edinstvo Strumica." In 1996, after obtaining a decision from the Commission of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, the company was registered as a privately-owned joint-stock company, under the name "Konfekcija i Trikotaža Edinstvo." In 2001, with the amendments to the Law on Commercial Companies, the company was re-registered as a joint-stock company, under the name "Edinstvo Strumica." Today, Edinstvo AD is a well-known company in the domestic and foreign markets for the production of specialized programs such as uniforms for the police, army, railway, postal services, banks, as well as school programs. The company manufactures men's and women's trousers and jackets. The company has implemented the quality system standard ISO 9001:2008, which is successfully implemented. Edinstvo AD Strumica has established a QUALITY POLICY to ensure that the products and services it delivers to customers fully meet their expressed real requirements.
