TTK Bank was set up in 2006 after the merger of two other Macedonian banks - Teteks Kreditna Banka Skopje and Tetovska Banka Tetovo. The head office of the bank is located in Macedonian capital city - Skopje. TTK Bank performs as a joint stock company with two major shareholders - Teteks Group (44%), a textile firm based in Tetovo, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which bought 25% in TTK in October 2006.
TTK Bank previously operated under the name Tetovska Banka, which was the legal successor of Komunalna Banka Tetovo, established in 1962. Tetovska Banka launched independent operations in 1995 after being spun off from Stopanska Banka Skopje.
Currently TTK Bank operates banking network that consists of nearly 30 branches in major Macedonian cities.
