El Puerto de Liverpool S.A.B. de C.V. is at the same time a constructor and operator of department stores and malls in the major cities of Mexico. It has three business units: Commercial, Real State and Credit. The activities of the Commercial Division are formed by 8 different companies; these companies manage 28 department stores commercially known as “Liverpool”, 8 of them are located in the metropolitan area of Mexico City and 25 department stores known as “Fabricas de Francia” throughout the country. Within its real estate division the company owns and manages malls in important areas of Mexico City and other nine cities. In its credit division the company offers credit cards. Liverpool has been listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) since 1991.
