Elementia S.A. manufactures and distributes copper, aluminium, asbestos-cement, concrete, polyestyrene and estyrene products for construction and infraestructure industries in Mexico and Latin America. It was founded in April, 1952 as "Productos Mexalit, S.A." and in February 2009 it changed its name to "Elementia, S.A." as a result of an important changes in the company because of the acquisitions of "Nacobre" and "Frigocel". "Elementia" has 30 production plants located in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Honduras. Its products are exported to 23 countries through 10 distribution centres, 13 stores and 3 branch offices located in Mexico, USA, Europe and Latin America.
