Industrias Penoles is the second largest mining group in Mexico. It operates in the melting and refining non-ferrous metals industry and the manufacturing of chemicals. Industrias Penoles is also a world leading manufacturer of refined silver, metallic bismuth and sodium sulfate. Recently it has diversified its operations in the areas of exploration, mining, metallurgy and chemicals. The main mining facilities of Penoles include Fresnillo, la Cienega, la Herradura, Naica and Francisco I. Madero.
