The Company is a public limited liability company, incorporated and domiciled in Malaysia.
The principal activity of the Company is investment holding and leading integrated safety and health solutions.
2003 – Established Safetyware Sdn. Bhd. (PG)
2004 – First office located at Taman Saga Jaya, about 3000sqf with 4 full-time employees
2005 – Established Kuala Lumpur Office
2005 – Relocation of headquarter from Taman Saga Jaya to Taman Perindustrian Beringin, about 6000 sq.ft.
2005 – Established Corporate Mission, Vision & Core Values (Facilitated by VA Partners)
2005 – Established business relationship with more than 100 corporate customers
2006 – Introduction of RHINO SHOE safety footwear – Our in-house brand which is positioned as high quality safety shoes with affordable price
2008 – Established Johor Office
2008 – Established more than 20 RHINO SHOE distributor throughout Malaysia
2010 – Established Malacca Office
2010 – Acquired Technical Rubber (M) Sdn. Bhd. And renamed it as Safetyware Industries Sdn. Bhd.
2010 – Safetyware Industries Sdn Bhd commence production of safety apparel, signage & labels
2010 – Achieved ISO 9001:2008 QMS certification
2010 – Started export of RHINO SHOE to Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines
2010 – Awarded the Emerging SME’s Golden Bull Award
2010 – Awarded with SME 100 Fast Moving Companies Award
2011 – Acquired a 2-acre industrial land in Bukit Minyak and completed the 1st phase construction with build-up area of 20,000 sq. ft.
2011 – Established Safetyware EHS Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. to focus on EHS training & consultancy service
2011 – Awarded the SME Recognition Rising Star Award
2011 – Awarded the 2nd Top 50 Team Enterprise Award
2012 – Established Safetyware (SG) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore
2012 – Awarded the Outstanding SME’s Golden Bull Award
2012 – Awarded with Malaysia’s Enterprise Spirit Award by Enterprise 50

2016 – Successfully upgraded ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) standard to ISO 9001:2015
2016 – Won the Sin Chew Business Excellence Award for Product & Service Excellence category
2016 – Won the Golden Eagle Award, awarded by Nanyang Siang Pau
2016 – Awarded 4 Stars from DOSH (OSHA SME) for Door to Door Programme
2016 – Started the company transformation programe – to prioritize the development of our own Safetyware & RHINO SHOE brand, and to transform from PPE distributor to Total EHS Solution provider with strong manufacturing capability.
2017 – Completed Penang HQ factory expansion with total build-up area of 75,000 sq.ft.
2017 – Safetyware Academy was established to offer quality EHS training
2017 – Introduction of new RHINO SHOE Ultranite series, made with Direct Vulcanised Technology (DVT)
2018 – Expansion of safety apparel production – added the capability of heat transfer & embroidery
2018 – Established rubber compounding section to produce the NBR compound needed for safety shoe production
2018 – Established a R&D laboratory to focus on product development and quality control
2018 – Launch of RedHippo safety shoe brand
2019 – Established Pahang office
2019 – Established Sarawak office
2019 – Became the licensed manufacturer of Lenzing Flame Resistant apparel
2020 – Established Sabah office
2020 – Incorporated Safetyware Australia Pty Ltd as an associate company
2020 – Established Hygiene & Sanitisation production — to produce sanitizers and disinfectant
2020 – Established masks production — to produce face masks & particulate respirators (N95/FFP2/P2 masks)
2020 – Established the production of Non-Woven Disposable Products (Mob Cap)
2020 – Established the production of Plastic Disposable Products (PE Gloves, CPE Shoe Cover)
2020 – Expanded the safety apparel production by tripling the number of sewing machines & equipment
2020 – Set-up Safetyware Store Online – Our own flagship online store to capture the consumer market
2020 – Expanded the production capability of Quicksign Sdn. Bhd. by adding addional HP Latex Printer, Digital Printer, Laser
Cutting/Engraving machine and UV Flatbed machine. Product range has been significantly widen
2021 – Expanded face mask production capacity with added machines & equipment
2021 – Set up retail store in Melaka
2021 – Obtained certifications from Medical Device Authorities (MDA) on face masks / respiratory protection products
2021 – Established new plant (P2) for hygiene & sanitisation production
2021 – Obtained certifications from National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) on hygiene & sanitisation products
2021 – Established new plant (P3) for disposable plastic & non-woven products and plastic injection products
2021 – Expanded safety footwear production to add-on Cemented Safety Shoes, PU Safety Shoes, and PVC Wellington Boots
2022 – Top 10 Winner of 2022 SME100 SAMENTA 35th Anniversary Edition (Northern Region)
2022 – Established the production of safety helmet at P3
2022 – Successfully listed on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia 2022 on Sept 9, 2022; and made a positive debut of 33% over its reference price
