The Company provides commercial banking services. It offers business banking products, such as working capital products, fixed capital loans, import loans, bills discounting facility under suppliers credit, export loans, hire purchase products, project finance, consortium/syndication loans, and mortgage loans; and deposit products, which include current accounts, call deposits, time deposits, general savings, and more.
The Company also provides non-life insurance, such as fire insurance, household insurance, marine insurance, motor insurance, burglary insurance, travel insurance, medical insurance, personal/group accident products, contractor plant and machinery products, and engineering insurance; and life insurance, including endowment plans, children's plans, pension plans, accidental and health insurance, group insurance, periodic reimbursement plans, and other savings plans.
In addition, it offers personal lending, such as housing finance, auto finance, Nabil property, and education finance; SME lending, which include working capital loans, term finance, import loans, export loans, and micro finance/deprived sector lending products; remittance products; and trade finance, such as forward contract, bid bond, performance bond, counter guarantee, shipping indemnity, and more.
Further, the company provides clean bills, which include clearing, bills purchase, and bills collections; safe deposit locker, balance certificate, and advance payment certificate; standard charge sheets; credit, debit, and prepaid cards; acquiring services; Nabil installments; and E-banking services.
The Company operates as a subsidiary of NB International Limited. It was incorporated on May 11, 1984 and is based in Kathmandu, Nepal with branches in Nepal. It is listed on Nepal Stock Exchange and changed its name from Nepal Arab Bank Limited to Nabil Bank Limited in 2002.
