ICBC Peru Bank, located in Lima, was established on November 9, 2011, after obtaining the organization license from the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance, and Private Pension Fund Administrators (SBS). It is the first subsidiary of the ICBC Group in Peru and the first Chinese capital bank to enter the Peruvian financial system. ICBC Peru Bank is authorized by the SBS to engage in all permitted banking activities in the local regulation, providing multiple financial services to its customers in Peru.
