Southern Cone Power Peru, was incorporated on September 12th, 1995. The company was originally named Entergy Peru, as the investment vehicle of Entergy Corp. (USA) for their participation in the privatization of Edegel, on November 30th of that year. SCPP, is devoted to economic studies, financial, market and general feasibility as well as participates and invests in training, establishment, management and administration of all types of companies in Peru. For this case, the company indirectly owns 21.14% of the capital of Edegel S.A.A through the holding Generandes Peru S.A. SCPP is a subsidiary of Israel Corporation Ltd.
