icino del Peru S. A. is a direct and indirect subsidiary of BTicino S.p.A. Milan, Italy; this corporation is an affiliate of Legrand S.A., France. Its economic activity, until February 2006, was the commercialization of electrical items, manufactured by the company itself and acquired from foreign affiliates. At the General Shareholders' Meeting held on 29 March 2006, the Company's corporate purpose was modified, eliminating the part corresponding to the manufacture of products, leaving only the concepts of import and distribution of products, articles and electrical appliances, among others. The company markets products under the "Bticino" brand, through purchases from affiliated companies abroad.
