First Abacus Financial Holdings Corporation (Philippines)

First Abacus Financial Holdings Corporation (FAF) is a publicly listed financial holdings and investment company located in Pasig, Philippines. The company owns several successful financial services companies, including Abacus Securities Corporation, a stockbroker/dealer and member of the Philippine Stock Exchange; Abacus Capital and Investment Corporation, a licensed investment house and member of the Investment House Association of the Philippines; and Vista Holdings Corporation, a property holding company that owns the office units used by the Abacus Group. First Abacus traces its origins back to the establishment of Abacus Securities Corporation in 1991, which became a member of the Manila Stock Exchange (now the Philippine Stock Exchange) in 1992. In 1995, Abacus Capital and Investment Corporation, a licensed and full-service investment house, was established. First Abacus was officially established in 1996 when the Abacus Group took control of Seven Seas Oil and Management Corporation and underwent a corporate restructuring to focus on financial services and investment. First Abacus aims to become a fully integrated financial services group offering innovative and customer-oriented financial and investment services. The company has a strong foundation, including a capitalization of P1.8 billion, with P1.193 billion paid up. It also has a dedicated and experienced management team and utilizes state-of-the-art technology in its operations. The company has a presence in key locations, including Ortigas, Pasig; Binondo; and major cities in Cebu and Davao.
