History:
1968: The Company emerged as a Private Limited Company on December 11, 1968, with the name of SG Rayon Mills
1994:The Company converted into a Public Limited Company on March 16, 1994 and renamed SG Fiber Limited on November 3, 1994
1996: The Company was listed in Pakistan Stock Exchange on March 28, 1996.
2013: The Company s shares suspended on April 11, 2013 as failed to fulfill the requirements of Listing Regulation payment of outstanding Annual Listing Fee.
2017: The Company changed its name from S.G. Fiber Limited to S.G. ALLIED BUSINESSES LIMITED on 24 August, 2017. The Company resumes trading.
The company has diversified its line of businesses from the production of polyester filament yarn to other line of businesses, as the filament yarn Industry is still in crises. Further, the management of the Company has taken initiatives for the revival of the Company and developed new diversified business strategy, henceforth, the Company has extended its business activities after getting itself restyled as SG Allied Businesses Limited on
24th August, 2017. Primarily, the Company started the activities of cold storage facility and dealing invarious agriculture produces.
2020: The Company has built the cold storage facility which came into operation in February 2018, therefore, revenue from facility is correspondingly reported in year 2020-21, similarly
