Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A. is a company located in Warsaw, Poland. It was incorporated on August 6, 1998, and is solely owned by Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A., also based in Warsaw. The company's main activities include creating and managing open pension funds, as well as creating and managing voluntary funds for individual pension accounts (IKE) or individual retirement security accounts (IKZE). Currently, Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A. manages the PZU "Złota Jesień" Open Pension Fund (OFE PZU), which operates in the second pillar of the pension insurance system and is one of the largest open pension funds in Poland, serving over 2.1 million individuals. Additionally, Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A. also manages the PZU Voluntary Fund (DFE PZU), which was one of the first entities among the universal pension companies to offer Individual Retirement Security Accounts (IKZE) to its clients.
