ROCKWOOL Polska Sp. z o.o. is a company located in Cigacice, Poland. It is part of the ROCKWOOL Group, a global leader in the production of mineral wool, providing products, systems, and solutions for improving energy efficiency, acoustics, and fire safety in buildings. The ROCKWOOL Group was established in 1909 and is currently the world's leading producer of solutions based on stone wool. The first ROCKWOOL factory was established in Hedehusene in 1937. In Poland, ROCKWOOL was the first Western investor to start production and sales of insulation materials made from mineral wool. Over the past 25 years of operating in the domestic market, the company has invested over 1 billion Polish zlotys in technological processes, expanding production lines, and implementing environmentally friendly installations. ROCKWOOL Polska has two factories, one in Cigacice near Zielona Góra and another in Małkinia. In total, the company has seven production lines in both factories, as well as additional lines for processing semi-finished products and finished goods. In Poland, ROCKWOOL is best known for its wide range of high-quality products for the construction sector. However, ROCKWOOL Polska also supplies products for horticulture and provides solutions for minimizing noise and vibrations in the transportation sector.
