Cooperativa Multiactiva Neuland Ltda. looks to promote the economic progress of its members through the promotion of primary products production, industrialization and commercialization. It also offers other services to the community such as: credits, purchases, supermarket, transport, bookshop, library and agricultural advice.
The colony Neuland was founded between the years 1947 and 1948 by descendants of German refugees from the Soviet Union and Poland. On June 1, 1949 the branch of the Cooperative Fernheim operating in Neu-Halbstadt became the Cooperative Neuland.
